TRACKS autism staff and families raised £250 at the recent Stevenage Fun Day.
As the sun shone, they were joined by UIA Insurance and Stevenage District Scouts to raise the money which will help the Stevenage based specialist early years centre continue to support children with autism.
Local MP Stephen McPartland also spent time with the team on their stall which was selling cakes and tickets to their tombola.
"It was great to see so much support for this fantastic local charity," said Sara Campbell, Principal of TRACKS autism. "Over the eleven years since it opened it's doors TRACKS has provided invaluable services to children with autism and their families."
The money will be a much needed boost to the charity which is currently raising money to purchase a new building in which to run it's early years centre. In total it needs to raise over £400,000.
