Admissions
We accept children from the age of 2.5 to 5 years of age (until the term they chronologically finish Reception - Early Years Foundations Stage. At the Principal's discretion).
Children do not require a formal diagnosis or referral; however, their main presenting need must be autism or a related difficulty. Our criteria is based on the needs of the child matching the specialist provision that we offer. Places are usually allocated on a first come first served basis using the date on which the completed application was received.
Term Dates & Sessions
The early years centre is open term time only (39 weeks per year) with sessions available Monday to Thursday at varying times. Sessions are between 2.5 and 5 hours long.
Please follow the link for full term dates, opening times and session information.
Opening Times:-
Monday 9.30am to 12.30pm
Tuesday 9.30am to 2.30pm
Wednesday 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm
Thursdays 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm
Fees
Due to the nature and disabilities of the children in our care, each session is catered for no more than 8 children with up to 6 staff. This unfortunately puts TRACKS autism outside the scope of Nursery Grants, and we receive no direct local authority or government funding and therefore are unable to accept 15 hours free childcare.
As a charity, we provide a heavily discounted rate for each child's session when funded by parents or carers. A fee waiver may be available to families in certain circumstances. For children funded by someone other than parents, or carers, the charges for each session provided will be a cost recovery basis.
Please see our admissions policy for more information on admissions and any applicable fees.
